Spex Contour Head Support

The Spex Contour Head Support is a deeply contoured wheelchair head support designed to provide enhanced occipital, suboccipital and lateral support. Its anatomical shape follows the natural contours of the head and neck, helping improve stability, comfort and midline head positioning.

The deeper contouring provides increased lateral protection while still allowing active head rotation and maintaining an open field of vision. A V-shaped cut-out behind the neck helps reduce pressure around the neck muscles and tendons, while the lower lateral support position helps avoid obstructing vision.

The Contour Head Support can also be gently reshaped to fine-tune the lateral support around the user’s head. A removable dual-layer cover helps reduce friction and shear while supporting everyday comfort and hygiene.
