Spex Comfort Head Support

The Spex Comfort Head Support is a contoured wheelchair head support designed for users who have fair head movement but need additional posterior support for stability and comfort. Its shallow contouring makes it well suited to general everyday use, including transit and travel.

Built-in occipital shaping follows the natural contours of the back of the head, helping maintain a supported position without overly restricting movement. The flared ends provide gentle guidance towards a midline position while helping keep the user’s field of vision open.

The Comfort Head Support combines an internal aluminium shell with moulded polyurethane foam and a removable dual-layer cover designed to reduce friction and shear. It is available in two sizes, with the larger option providing additional surface area for greater head stability.
