The Spex SuperShape Back Support is a highly configurable wheelchair back support designed for users with complex and asymmetric postural needs. It provides deep, customised contouring to support users with presentations such as kyphosis, scoliosis, hyperlordosis, skeletal prominences or pressure care requirements.
The SuperShape uses a triple-layered cube contouring system, allowing clinicians to build areas of greater or lesser support to suit the individual user’s body shape. This allows the back support to provide intimate contact, immersion and stability without relying on excessive foam bulk.
Designed for clinical flexibility and everyday comfort, the SuperShape includes pressure-reducing foam, breathable washable covers and an expansion fabric contact surface that allows contouring while supporting skin protection. It can also be adjusted on the spot and reconfigured as the user’s needs change.
