Spex Growth-Adjust Back Support

The Spex Growth-Adjust Back Support is an adjustable wheelchair back support designed to accommodate growth over time. Its height-adjustable shell allows the back support to extend as the user grows, making it particularly well suited to paediatric wheelchair seating.

The upper section of the shell uses a sliding adjustment system, allowing the back support height to be changed without adding extra components. The foam and upholstery are designed to extend with the back support, reducing the need to replace padding as the user grows.

The Growth-Adjust is available with different padding and contouring options to suit individual postural needs. Planar foam is available for users with more symmetrical postures, while Spex Classic contouring can provide additional support for asymmetry and pressure management. A T Shape option is also available for additional upper trunk and shoulder support.
