The Spex Classic Back Support is a configurable wheelchair back support designed to provide comfort, postural control and torso stability. It is suited to users who require support for spinal alignment, asymmetrical posture, changing postural needs or mild bony prominences.
The Classic uses the Spex Contouring Cube System, allowing clinicians to shape the back support surface to the user’s individual torso profile. Cubes can be added, removed or rearranged to create targeted contouring for immersion, asymmetry and postural support.
Designed for comfort and ongoing adjustment, the contouring system can be reconfigured as the user’s needs change. The back support also features pressure-reducing foam, a dual-layer outer cover and shell ventilation to assist with comfort, airflow and everyday use.
