Dex-4-Kids hardware comes standard with a built-in lockout latch to prevent everything from backpacks to curious fingers from accidentally disengaging the backrest. Discreetly hidden once engaged, it is one less thing to worry about as your child goes about their day. Utilizing the DEX design means it is easy to set-up and adjust. The audible "click" when installed makes sure you know when its locked in place and ready-to-go.

Keep your child comfortable with the breathable, wipeable cover that remains cool to the touch and provides the right amount of stretch for comfort. Easily removable for cleaning, you won’t find a cover that multi-tasks like this anywhere else! Lighter density foam in the cushion is designed for lighter users, while also providing support. (Applicable to all models)
Posterior Lateral Back (PXPL)
Formed aluminum backrest with a welcoming and comfortable profile cradles smaller torsos and puts the fixed lateral supports where you need them. The included lumbar support can be used to position the posterior spine and help growing bodies find good posture.

The Adjustable Lateral Back offers extra versatility to accommodate various positioning needs. Available as a back panel only or with fixed or swing-away laterals, which can be mounted at the trunk or hips. This adjustability creates a positioning back system that can grow to accommodate changing shapes and positioning needs over time. Pads are interchangeable.
