Spex Constructa Shape Cushion

The Spex Constructa Shape Cushion is an adjustable wheelchair cushion designed to provide customised pelvic and lower-limb positioning for users with a wide range of postural needs. Its modular design allows the cushion to be configured around the user’s body shape while providing a stable foundation for seated posture.

The Constructa Shape uses a flat base with adjustable positioning blocks and contouring pads. The thigh supports and ischial well can be modified to accommodate presentations such as limited hip flexion, windswept posture, pelvic obliquity, hip rotation, adduction and abduction.

Designed to support both positioning and pressure management, the cushion allows areas of contour and immersion to be adjusted to redistribute pressure and support bony prominences. The system can also be reconfigured as the user grows or their postural needs change, with Standard, High and SuperHigh contour options available.
