Spex Constructa Flex Cushion

The Spex Constructa Flex Cushion is a highly adjustable wheelchair cushion designed to provide a stable seating foundation for users with complex postural and pressure care needs. Its modular design allows the cushion to be shaped around the user’s pelvis and lower limbs to support individual body contours and positioning requirements.

The Constructa Flex can accommodate presentations such as limited hip flexion, pelvic obliquity, windswept posture, hip abduction and leg length differences. Adjustable positioning blocks allow clinicians to alter contour, immersion and support across different areas of the cushion while helping manage pressure distribution.

Designed to adapt over time, the cushion can be reconfigured as the user grows or their postural needs change. Standard, High and SuperHigh contour options provide different levels of lateral pelvic and thigh support, while breathable covers and pressure-managing foam layers support comfort during everyday wheelchair use.
