The Adapta2 uses an adaptive Profile Curvature System, with the rigid aluminium shell divided into two adjustable sections. This allows clinicians to shape the back support to match the user’s pelvis and spine, providing contouring through the shell rather than relying on excessive foam padding.
The contoured surface is designed to remain supportive when the wheelchair seating system is tilted or adjusted. Thin-line foam padding, breathable upholstery and accessible positioning options help improve comfort, airflow and ongoing clinical adjustment.
